What is a MLS?

MLS (Multiple Listing Service) is a computer database into which all Realtors enter all homes, condo's, land, and other properties they have listed for sale.

The MLS allows Realtors to cooperate with one another in the selling of all real estate for sale in the community.  Any Realtor many sell any property listed within the MLS.

For this reason, any one Realtor can provide a buyer with information about all properties of any kind listed for sale in a community and beyond.  And, with today's technology, this ability extends far beyond the local community to surrounding communities, and even to the State, nation, and world.

So, to save yourself time, contact one Realtor and allow he/she to find a home that meets your needs.  While you have to surf hundreds of web sites, the Realtor can usually just search one database and provide you with the information you need to purchase a home.
